In Hong Kong the Green Hornet was renamed the Kato show and had a huge following there. On a visit to Hong Kong ex-Shaw Brothers producer, Raymond Chow, makes Bruce an offer to make two films.
The first one, 'The Big Boss', broke all box office records until the release of his second film, 'Fist of Fury', breaks all records again. In 1972 Bruce starts his third film,this time he is the writer.
The original name for this film was, 'Enter the Dragon', but was renamed to, 'The Way of the Dragon'. Later that year, Bruce starts his fourth film which would be called, 'The Game of Death'.

Halfway through the film he got the offer from Warner Brothers to make, 'Enter the Dragon', he stopped production of, 'Game of Death', to start production on, 'Enter the Dragon'.

   
After finishing, 'Enter the Dragon', Bruce continued with, 'The Game of Death'. It was while going over scripts at the house of Chinese actress Betty Ting-Pei he complained of a headache. Betty gave him a prescription headache pill equagesic. A couple of hours later, Betty tries to wake him, but can't. Betty calls Raymond Chow and her doctor and they rush him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but Bruce is pronounced dead on arrival.
At Bruce's funeral, Steve McQueen and James Cockburn were his pallbearers.
